Dr.VinodDubey received his medical education and training from the Mumbai. He completed his post-graduation in Orthopaedic surgery from Bangalore. After finishing his post-graduation he worked in various other institutes in South India and Mumbai.

He has obtained his official training in Paediatric orthopaedic surgery, bone tumor and cerebral palsy (postdoctoral fellowship for 2 years) from the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC) and Hospital, Vellore which is an institution of national and international repute and is among the very few centres offering such training in India. He worked and got trained in various other institutes in Mumbai as Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, Cerebral palsy and Gait disorder consultant.

He has received extensive training in Orthopaedic surgery, bone and soft tissue tumor, limb Lengthening and Reconstructive surgery. He got exposure in all types of Bone and Soft tissue Tumor in Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI) Ahmedabad.

  • He did his DNB in 2003. He did his senior residency in strabismus at RIO, Ahmedabad (2003). He did his FNB (Fellow of National Board) (2 year fellowship) in Paediatric Ophthalmology at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and later joined the hospital as a Medical officer (2006).
  • He did a short term fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from University of Wisconsin, Madison awarded by ICO (2007). He worked as an Assistant Professor at RIO for 1 ½ years.
  • He was awarded fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology in Paediatric Ophthalmology & Squint (2011). He was Head, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Dr.Thakorbhai. V. Patel Eye Institute from 2008-2016.
  • He is currently Director of Baroda Children Eye care and Squint Clinic, a state of art largest and most well equipped facility for exclusive paediatric ophthalmology in the state.
