Empowering Individuals with Disabilities

The Day Activity Centre (DAC) programme is designed to equip persons with disabilities with daily living skills and community living skills to maximise their independence. The activities also aim to meaningfully occupy persons with disabilities with social and recreational activities. Therapeutic and behavioural intervention services may be provided. DAC also provide a form of respite for caregivers during the day.

Day Activity Centres (DAC) is a community-based facility that provides care and skills training to persons with disabilities. iHriday provide care services, therapeutic activities and training in life skills, to maintain the level of function. DAC is suitable for working parents or those parents who are unable to take care of their loved one or require some respites (breaks) during the day. DAC offer full-time day programmes includes meals. Fees are means-tested.
